The Community Land Trust Network launched their latest State of the CLT Sector report, with both the Secretary of State, Michael Gove MP and Danny Kruger MP speaking in support of CLTs.
The report shows how the CLT movement has grown rapidly in the last decade. And also how the impact of CLT’s projects spans far wider than the increased access to affordable homes but also reduced greenhouse gas emissions, greater social cohesion and better health.
The main focus of the report is the market opportunity to scale up the sector. The CLT Network have set out five housing products developed by CLTs that could, if taken to scale, see 278,000 homes built or renovated, coming into community ownership.
